A Heretic’s Manifesto

We need heretics. Many of the greatest ideas ever uttered were once damnable heresies. But where are the free thinkers today? From gender to climate change to Covid, intellectual conformity is being imposed with far too little pushback. Cancel culture dispenses with the dissenters, threats are used to silence mavericks. In this collection of original essays, Brendan O’Neill remakes the case for heresy – and commits a few heresies of his own along the way.

How did it conquer so many of our institutions? How can we fight back? These are the questions at the heart of How Woke Won, Joanna Williams’ brilliant new book, published by spiked in partnership with John Wilkes Publishing. It is your essential guide to our maddening times. Order your copy now!
