In the run-up to the festival, spiked‘s editor Brendan O’Neill is carrying out ‘taster interviews’ with some of the speakers at the Battle for the online TV channel 18 Doughty Street. In the first interview – or ‘Battle Talk’ – he spoke to Ceri Dingle of the youth education charity WORLDwrite about her new film Corruptababble, which challenges the view of Africa as a peculiarly corrupt continent and which will be premiered at the Battle of Ideas.
