The social psychosis of putting men in women’s jails
A society that puts rapists in enclosed spaces with vulnerable women is a sick society indeed.

Being a screw is a tough job. No one who goes down the career path of keeping a watch on convicts expects an easy ride. Yet surely female prison wardens are within their rights to expect that they’ll never have to deal with rape threats from men while on the job. In fact, they should never have to encounter men at all, right, given they work in the women’s estate? Well, unbelievably, or perhaps not, there are accusations that this very thing, this most unconscionable thing, happened in a prison in Ireland last year: a female worker was allegedly threatened with rape.
This is the news that ‘Barbie Kardashian’ is back in court. He’s an Irish-born bloke, 22 years old, whose real name is Gabrielle Alejandro Gentile. He masquerades as a woman and has been known to wear garish make-up and daft outfits. Last year he was found guilty at Limerick’s Circuit Criminal Court of threatening to rape and murder his mother and was sentenced to five-and-a-half years in jail. It gets worse: ‘Kardashian’ was sent to the women’s section of Limerick Prison. A man who had threatened to visit the most heinous sexual violence on his own mum was locked up with vulnerable women. Insane doesn’t cover it.
Following an outcry, ‘Kardashian’ was moved to the male section. But there are allegations that while he was with the women he did terrible things. He’s on trial at the Circuit Court again, this time for allegedly threatening to rape prison warden Roisín Linnane. Ms Linnane alleges that ‘Kardashian’ said he would sexually assault her with an ‘implement’. ‘I never feared a prisoner before, but in this case I feared for my safety’, she told the court this week. A prisoner, Tegan McGhee, alleges she was threatened, too. ‘I haven’t forgotten you. I will rape you’, ‘Kardashian’ allegedly told her.
‘Kardashian’ denies the accusations and of course he must be presumed innocent until proven guilty. And yet a crime has definitely been committed. It was committed by the Irish state. Its demented decision to put ‘Barbie’ in the women’s estate, to place a man who’d dreamt of committing violence against a woman with women, was a crime against decency. It was a crime against reason. It was a crime against the rights of women – yes, even incarcerated women ought to enjoy the right not to live cheek by jowl with violent-minded males. Personally, I’d drag the Irish elites into the dock, on charges of sacrificing the dignity of Ireland’s women at the altar of their deranged, post-science belief system that says you can have a dick and be a woman, and that anyone who says otherwise is a lowlife bigot.
It’s time to talk about the placing of men who masquerade as women in women’s jails. Nothing better captures the lunacy of woke, the sludge of misogyny and moral relativism we’re all now forced to wade through, than this. Than the locking up of violent men in enclosed spaces with troubled women. Than the placing of men who have assaulted, raped and even murdered women with women who are just trying to serve out their sentences. Than this cruel and unusual punishment – for that’s what it is – of not just jailing women who’ve committed an offence but also forcing them to live in fear alongside men who have done unspeakable things to women. Medieval society punished ‘bad’ women by pelting them with fruit, or ducking them, or strapping them to the stake – now we punish them by forcing them to live in a cell next to a rapist.
Yes, even rapists have been placed in women’s jails. People will recall the mad case of Isla Bryson – real name: Adam Graham – who was convicted of raping two women and sent to HM Prison Cornton Vale in Stirling, Scotland’s only prison exclusively for women. Then there was Karen White (Stephen Wood), a predator convicted of raping women and committing gross indecency with a child. He says he’s a woman, the judicial system believed him, and so he was packed off to New Hall in West Yorkshire, a women-only jail. While there he sexually assaulted two inmates. These are the wages of woke, where society now prefers to put women in serious danger rather than risk offending the delusional identity of a violent bloke. His ‘right’ to be seen as a woman apparently overrides women’s right not to be raped.
In the US it’s even worse. Consider the Edna Mahan Women’s Correctional Facility in New Jersey. A truly sadistic man who killed a prostitute in order to satisfy his ‘blood fetish’ has been placed in Edna Mahan. Well, he says he’s a woman. A man convicted of using a hammer to beat to death a 55-year-old woman has also been placed in Edna Mahan. Another ‘transwoman’ at Edna Mahan had sex with inmates, making two of them pregnant. Courtesy of the trans cult and its elevation of men’s feelings over women’s safety, this NJ jail is now ‘plagued by violent male transfers’, says Reduxx’s Genevieve Gluck, who discusses her excellent work on the trans endangerment of female prisoners on my podcast this week.
There are many other cases, across the supposedly civilised world, of violent men being housed with female prisoners. It is a truly grotesque spectacle. While ‘girlboss’ feminists fight for the right of women to become members of the posh, opulent Garrick Club in London, women far further down the social scale are being made to live with rapists. And often, the girlbosses – alongside every other adherent to correct opinion in the 21st-century activist set – approve of the very ideology of self-ID that has led to this situation where even rapists who say ‘I’m a woman’ will have their hallucinations flattered and validated by the state. Well, the worst impacts of this ideology are reserved for women of the working class who find themselves in trouble, so who gives a shit? Just let me into the Garrick.
There is no greater indictment of the ruling class than the fact that so few of them, if any, stopped to say: ‘Is it wise to house violent men with women?’ People talk about the ‘madness of crowds’ – I’m far more worried about the madness of the elites. For we now know these people are so drunk on the politics of identity, so high on the unhinged fallacies of transgenderism, that they’re content to endanger women so long as their own puffed-up political virtue remains intact. A society that packs off a man who murdered a woman with a hammer to live in close proximity with other women is a sick, lost society. Fixing this dire collapse in reason is going to be hard, and essential.
